Also, the electrician came yesterday morning and installed 3 sockets in the garage. The contractors came today and dug the trench outside the house (something about preventing termites/bugs?). Now I need to get my notice of commencement signed sealed and delivered to the courthouse (notarized and recording then faxed to my contractor). Insulation is scheduled for next Tuesday.
Lowes flooring (for the garage) seems to keep pestering me about when they can come in. Calm down people, you will get your money but things are not ready yet.
Finally everything is moving at a very nice clip. ^_^
EDIT:
Went to the bank with a paper to get notarized, it didn't have anywhere to be signed. Went to the courthouse and got the right paper. Called my contractor for his address information. (Waited at a very long train and 100 stop lights) Went back to the bank to get my form notarized, then back to the courthouse, filed my papers (cost me $10 which I didnt know in advance). All looking like this.
EDIT2:
The old electrician from Lowes called today. He still needs to put in the light by my front door (currently it is hanging out- not "hanging out" but literally hanging out) and make the fan so that it is on the switch by the door, rather than the electrical socket. He will be coming by Tuesday next.
Tuesday next:
Paul- vanity, quarter round, transition pieces
Chestnut Electrical - porch light and fan
Insulation guys - Insulation
Inspection- trench (for the moat to keep out zombies)
Soonish:
Inspection- Electrical
Home Depot- drywall garage
Lowes - flooring garage
