Bought a new water heater! The old one ended up leaking on the floor is its last spurt and then going completely cold. I ended up calling Lowes and just having them bring it over and install it. It took maybe an hour and a half, and its an energy efficient one, with a nice little digital panel. Pix later!

I closed on my new house yesterday! I wasn't sure if we would get there this week but amazingly we did. My Realtor didn't remind me about getting the survey until Tuesday and the gentleman I was working with couldn't go until Thursday. The title company wanted all the paperwork Thursday by noon to close Friday, so I called someone new who went out Tuesday or Wednesday and had paperwork to us Thursday morning. Slightly unfortunately, I don't get keys until Monday, which means I can't start work until then. The house needs flooring (tile), AC, possibly cabinets in the kitchen, and painting. etc etc, tons of little things too always. I will probably try to get over to Lowes today to choose tile and cabinets.

Paul came over and installed the new faucet and put up the closet doors (pics later!) The old faucet was pretty much corroded to itself and wouldn't come off so we had to saw the dang thing off. Anyway, the new faucet is great, and I have cold water again. Now I don't have to scald myself doing dishes every time!

Went over to Ace this weekend and they worked out the kinks in the staple gun (there were a bunch of staples mashed in there), so I stapled the curtain to the shelving in the dance room.

I also put up the tiles I bought from HD so that when Paul comes over tomorrow he can grout it and it will be done.

Paul is also going to put in the new faucet I bought in the kitchen. On the old one, the cold water stopped turning and then it completely broke off. And i bought the closet kit so that the doors can be hung also. Finally, yay!

We painted white yesterday- the 2 closet doors and the 3 doors and doorways in the dance room. I had a little paint left over in the roller pan and so I wiped it off over the bad looking parts in the laundry room- its an improvement though its also not great.

I moved some of the mirrors from their waiting place in the computer room over to the dance room. I realize I have way more mirrors than I need so I still have a stack of 4 mirrors, 2 mirrors in frames and 1 mirror I would like to hang on the wall in the living room because its so pretty.
